Netflix has a habit of killing off promising fantasy series. Some barely make it past the first season, some get a few episodes more, but to be honest, Netflix (just like all the other streaming services) rarely give a series the chance to grow on people.
And so they killed this one as well. Fortunately, the core plot was done before the series was canceled.
Story
Locke & Key is based on a comic-book series Joe Hill and Gabriel RodrÃguez.
This is a YA / NA series. Keys (and bodies) allow access to different worlds. After their father is murdered the Locke family move into their old ancestral home. It's full of keys and secrets connected to their father's death.
Verdict
Enjoyable, has a few creepy moments for the younger ones but nothing too serious. I liked it.
