Just a single season, YA, and a bit tight on budget, yet quite promising.
Unfortunately, there won't be a second season. I personally think it deserved one, but I can live with it the way it is.
Synopsis (spoiler)
By modifying their medication an unscrupulous doctor turns his (teen) patients into lab rats, awakening some kind of superpowers in them. Yeah, I know that sounds cheesy, but it isn't that bad. I've seen way, way worse.
Verdict
Watch it. It has a couple of fun takes on the whole concept, and mister bad (Rhys Nicholson as Alex Snow) is one of the best characters. He isn't even evil, no, he just has no moral compass whatsoever, which is even more scary.
