Sometimes Windows 11 is sooooooo annoying.
Place a link to a webpage on your desktop... works. Drag it to the taskbar... can't pin it.
Why oh why? Well, here's the work-around...
Step by step
1. Create a shortcut on the desktop (New Shortcut)
2. Target is CMD (nothing else, just CMD)
3. Enter, done
4. Now change the name of that shortcut to whatever you like
5. Then RMB on it
6. Properties
7. Now change the icon to what you want
8. Now replace the target (probalby c:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe) with
[file+path to your browser] [space] [url of the webpage]
If the path contains a space you'll need to use double quote signs "whatever"
9. And the resulting shortcut you can drag to your taskbar
Microsoft, Microsoft. Seriously?
