There's something about the work by Tony DiTerlizzi that just speaks to me. He was the original artist behind the artwork of PlaneScape.
I think (not even sure, it was too long ago) this is a poor re-composition I did myself. Which reminds me of a great team of real people I once worked with. I miss you, people. You were the best.
If you prefer a better aspect ratio for 9:6 screens, use the one below. Notice that this was composited 25+ years ago, probably using PhotoImpact. The quality isn't great, the resolution is low, but to me it's a great reminder of what once was.
