Elliot Kay - Poor Man's Fight 6 - No Man's Land

Audiobook Review

Another space opera / military sci-fi series. Main protagonist might be a little too much of an anti hero in the 6th book, but it’s quite readable.

Series starts with greedy corporations that unload endless debts on wannabe students, then moves on to an interstellar conflict between several races.

Summary

Our anti-hero / veteran has left the navy, but is pulled back in to visit a rock aka camouflaged spaceship that belongs to the alien queen he dissed in the previous book.

We've left all the education related bits behind us, and are now firmly into alien conflict territory.

The Verdict

Good read, if you like combat oriented stuff. The aliens were fairly believable, and that made it above average. Onwards to book 7!

Narration

Wow, what happened? The previous books were narrated quite well. In this one the narrator 'whispered' most of the time, and I found that rather annoying.
