Largely entertaining, but not as good as the previous two Deadpool movies. The ending was a bit of a cop-out (with the typical super villain about to destroy the world) and I found the second half of the movie somewhat predictable and boring.
Though it is entertaining...
Why?
Hugh Jackman is back, Wolverine is alive again, and Gambit finally got a movie... scene 😎 to himself. But, from this point on, Deadpool might have run out of steam as the lead character. And - yet again - Marvel has managed to kill off a decent antagonist. A bit more X-23 wouldn't have hurt either.
Best moments? The 'Calverine' and 'Blade' cameos.
Worst? Peter versus the Deadpools and the 'destroy the universe' plot. Been there, done that.
The Verdict
Yeah, it's an okay movie (and certainly better than some of the other recent Marvel flops) but not exceptional.
