F1 - Bad Poetry in Motion (Balls of Steel)

Writing / Formula 1.

As I said before, if you suffer from writer's block then write some bad poetry. Coincidentally, the new F1 🏎️ season just started. Tomorrow's race two, and with some (bad) luck Mercedes will be just as boringly reliable as always...

But... it did inspire me to write some bad poetry...

F1

Why I'm watching F1? More because of everything that happens outside the race. The insults, the drama, on and off-track, for example the events of Hockenheim 2019 are fantastic to watch.

Oh well. At least it helped me fix my writing block... (Not sure if you should continue reading this specific post though 😅)

The only thing I hope is that tomorrow won't be a boring car parade 🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️ with Mercedes up in front. Boooooooring.

Balls of Steel

The new one said, "I am so great, I do have balls of steel."

"Kick out now the other guy, put me behind the wheel."

And so they did, but one time 'round, per radio he wailed,

"Oh goodness me, oh greatness me, the rear axle has failed!"

They called him in, they checked his car, found bearings missing bits,

It took one nurse and two mechanics before he left the pits.

He had the pace and won the race to take the golden crown...

But couldn't keep it up all night and let his girlfriend down.

So here's my advice to any girl who loves a driving steed,

he'll give it all, including balls, when those are the parts they need.
