Adrian Tchaikovsky - Children of Time

Review.

A human generation ship returns to a terraformed world where spiders have become the dominating intelligent species. It's a good book though sometimes a little predictable, especially the last two or three chapters.

Still a good read / listen. Not for people who are scared of spiders though 😂

Notes

The alternating viewpoints of the planet dwelling spiders and the human crew are also reflected by the use of present versus past tense.

I think there is a sequel involving octopuses...

Audiobook

Mel Hudson does a fine job as the narrator. No complaints there.
