Gosh, this is beginning to look like a movie review project. Next one please. We watched Bolt, together with the kids, in the cinema some Sunday afternoon way back when...
Okay, but...
It's fairly good, but to me the one and only interesting character was Rhino the hamster. (Yeah, that's right. Rhino. I think.) Bit predictable, good for kids, but I can easily think of a couple of movies that were released around the same time, and are IMHO simply better:
- Kung Fu Panda
- Mulan
- Cars
- Monsters Inc
- Ice Age
- Desperaux
... yet, Bolt was enjoyable. If you're bored and have to take care of two pre-teens then go and watch it, at least you'll have another hour and a half of 'quiet' 😎
And, well, Bolt has one redeeming feature... Rhino...
