Amanda Tapping takes care of 'abnormals'. Innocent young man ends up protecting supernatural beings. Some evil machinations try to take the sanctuary for aforementioned supernatural beings down. Troubles ensue.
I think that's pretty much it 😁
Plot
Hmm... I liked the first few episodes (the webisodes) but they're killing of all the interesting / fun characters. Why did Holmes have to go? Why did Ashley have to go?
Some of the plot points are a tad weak (an evil energy-being that compels main character x to be... pfff, been there done that).
CGI
Also, the effects are not as good as one would hope for, a little more 'dirt' in post-production could have helped, but most amazing is the discrepancy between different parts and sections. The apocalyptic world Magnus ends up in is quite believable, but the 'worm tongues' of the inflicted are pretty much laughable, and this same contrast of good vs. bad CGI effects is visible throughout the series.
The verdict
Yeah, still watchable, but not as great as it could have been.
