Summary
In a post apocalyptic world the poor fight the elite by breaking down their gear (huge mechas). Add a bit of rebellion and a developing romance between basically two outcasts (one from the gearbreakers, and one from the elite), add some good battle scenes and some love and betrayal, and bingo!
